Gluten Free Play dough
Mix together in a bowl:
- 1/2 cup Flour I
use brown rice flour (You can also use white rice flour. If you cannot
tolerate rice you can substitute garbanzo bean flour or buckwheat flour)
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch or additional flour I use tapioca starch flour
- 1/2 cup Salt
- 2 tsp. Cream of Tartar - I use McCormick brand - their website states that all
their single spices are gluten free and they will clearly label any
gluten that is in their products
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tsp Oil
- Food coloring if desired
Directions:
Place
all ingredients in a kettle on the stove. Stir and cook on low for 3
minutes until mixture forms a ball. Mix in food coloring if desired. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
